A Kid's Card

Sorry I haven't been around lately but I've been under the weather for the last couple days. But I hope you all had a Happy Mother's Day. I managed to drag myself out of bed to go for some brunch at Olympic View Golf Course. It was yummy for what I ate!! And my girl's got some cute planter's for all my little gerber daisy plants!

Anyway, since I haven't been feeling up to creating anything so I thought I would share a card I did a few months ago.

A Mother's Day Card

How can you tell I have two kids.....I was just reading my previous posts and realized that I said my first card would be a Mother's Day card!!! Well, here it is!!! 5 days late but still in time for Mother's Day!!! This card was also designed by my upline, Bev! But it is a great set that I had to buy after she did this card, so I will post my creation with this set in the next few days!

Embrace Life

This card I did for a layout challenge that my demonstrator group did for our last meeting. I used the Embrace Life set with some flower rub-ons on the ribbon piece.

Time for a little catchup.....

So....on the day I was to post my first of 31 posts, my computer decided it didn't want to cooperate. I now have my computer back and am ready to post!!!! So....I will do 3 cards today to catch up!!!!

This first card uses a bunch of my favourite things.....designer paper, ribbon, and of course, a new stamp set!!!!

STAMPS: She's All That (from the Occasions Mini Catalogue)

INK: Chocolate Chop, Old Olive

PAPER: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, Old Olive DSP

ACCESSORIES: Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon (could easily be substituted with Wide Grosgrain ribbon)

Notice how her purse uses the DSP. All I did was stamp the purse on a scrap of paper, cut it out, and then traced it onto the DSP and attached it!! Just gives it that little something extra!!!

This next card uses my new favourite tool and my new favourite colour combination!!!
