I LOVE new stamps!!!!

So....I just got my first order of 2008 and got started right away!!! I have two workshops coming up in February just in time for Sale-a-Bration so I thought I would start getting my cards ready. I did two out four last night and thought I would share them with you! My theme for this set is FRIENDSHIP.


This first card uses an older set which is an absolute favourite of mine as well as a brand new set from the 2008 Spring/Summer Catalogue. I've used Heartfelt Thanks and Celebrate Everything. For paper, I used Lovely Lilac, Very Vanilla, and some of our Almost Amethyst Designer Series Paper. Simple but still beautiful!

The second card will celebrate Sale-a-Bration! And I got the idea from this card from the Stampin' Up Stampin' Success online extras. Stampin' Success is a monthly magazine that gets sent to all demonstrators. It has great ideas for workshops and building your business. And you get it just for being a demonstrator. So...this card uses Friendship Blooms which can be found in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I've used So Saffron and Certainly Celery cardstock. For the flowers I used Regal Rose and Bashful Blue on Whisper White cardstock. I then cut the images out and attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals. To "tie" the card together I used Very Vanilla wide grosgrain ribbon. I attached the ribbon to the back of the card using Sticky Strip. The quote in the bottom right corner says, "Your friendship makes me HAPPY."

It's Here!

The new Spring-Summer Collection 2008 is here! If you haven't received your copy yet, you can view it online here. Let me share some highlights of the new catalogue....

The prices are lower! You'll notice that prices on most items have decreased in the new catalogue and I'm happy to be able to announce that the prices have been lowered even more! Since Stampin' Up! has to send the catalogue for printing several weeks before it is released, they have re-evaluated the pricing and are offering a further decrease. The prices printed in the catalogue are higher than the actual price, but you can see the new pricing here.

With the decrease in prices, there is a slight change in the hostess benefits also. The first level of hostess benefits will now begin at $200 rather than $225!

There are some wonderful new products including Rub-ons, new striped grosgrain ribbon, beautiful new Designer Series Papers, exciting new Simply Scrappin' Kits, felt flowers, and more! And, of course, great new stamp sets!!
